Peachtree City MOBA alumni join Liberty for the 2023 Season
Greenville, SC (April 13, 2023) – The Greenville Liberty Soccer Club has announced the signing of Robyn Moody and Elicia Mulvaney to the 2023 roster, pending league and federation approval. Both players come to Greenville after spending the 2022 season with Peachtree City MOBA.
Moody competed in the midfield for Peachtree City with a total of 473 minutes, three points, and three assists last summer. In 2021, Robyn made her way from Aveley, England to play for the Delta State University women’s soccer program. The sophomore has seen action in 37 matches, tallied six goals, and three assists throughout her collegiate career.
While in high school at Barking Abbey School, she served as captain of the women’s soccer team and was called up to play with the England Colleges Representative Squad. The England Colleges team gives talented players the opportunity to compete at the international level by representing their country through domestic and international fixtures. She was also a competitor for the Billericay Town FC youth club, where she had the opportunity to score a goal during her debut in the FA Youth Cup, a sub competition of the world renowned, FA Cup.
Fellow Peachtree City teammate, Elicia Mulvaney, also made her way stateside from England to play collegiate and USL W League soccer. During the 2022 season with Peachtree City, Mulvaney recorded 447 minutes in 12 matches. Mulvaney recently wrapped up her senior season at Young Harris College, where she appeared in 27 matches and spent 1,518 minutes on the pitch. Prior to becoming YHC Mountain Lion, she spent her freshman and sophomore campaigns at Iowa Central Community College, where she had an eight-goal, seven-assists, and 21-point record.
In her homeland, Mulvaney competed with the London Bees, Reading FC, and Oxford United youth clubs. During her time with Oxford United’s U17 squad, she scored a goal against West Brom, helping to advance the team to the FA Youth Cup semifinal match.
Moody and Mulvaney will take to the pitch this season alongside former Peachtree City teammate, Sydney Jimmo. The club will begin its second season this summer with hopes of clenching the division title and bringing home the W League trophy. Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here.
